“This area of the house used to have my desk, my computer, 2 printers, a network switch, a wireless access point and heaps of cables joining them all together. Since I moved all our technology to my "nerd room", it is now our dining area. Damn couvade syndrome!“

“Today marks the first day of a new month, the first day of a new financial year, the first day of the increased baby bonus, the first day my unborn baby is considered full term (37 weeks) and the first day I have installed a car seat.“

Thanks to Andrew, Richie, James and Dean who all helped me decipher the instruction manual and work out the tangle of belts and buckles. I will still get it all checked to make sure it is correctly installed and 100% safe, but I am confident it is fine.

“Today is the release date of John Mayer’s new DVD: "Where the Light is". My wife and I turned out the lights, turned up the sound and enjoyed all 3 hours - clapping and cheering as if we were at the concert!“

Great DVD. John Mayer performs his three different genres back to back and made sure to thank himself … for supporting himself. It is a must get for fans and features a couple of songs I hadn’t heard. The audio was fantastic and the surround sound created an ambience that added to the ‘atmosphere’. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did our little baby girl. The fact that she isn’t born yet, didn’t stop her from kicking in time with the music.
